Shipping & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 24/09/2026

This Shipping & Cancellation Policy explains the delivery, transportation, cancellation, and return terms applicable to construction materials purchased from PROMART.

PROMART supplies construction materials including solid concrete blocks, aggregates, and other construction materials to customers in Bangalore and surrounding service areas.

1. Delivery & Shipping

PROMART provides delivery of construction materials to the address provided by the Customer at the time of placing an order.

Delivery availability depends on:

  • Delivery location
  • Product availability
  • Quantity ordered
  • Vehicle availability
  • Road and site accessibility
  • Weather and traffic conditions
  • Applicable local restrictions

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be communicated to the Customer before order confirmation.

2. Delivery Areas

PROMART primarily serves Bangalore, Karnataka, with delivery to other locations subject to availability and transportation feasibility.

Additional transportation charges may apply for deliveries outside the normal service area.

Customers should confirm the delivery location with PROMART before placing an order.

3. Delivery Time

PROMART will provide an estimated delivery date or time based on product availability, order quantity, delivery location, and vehicle availability.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Heavy rainfall or adverse weather
  • Road closures or restrictions
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Loading delays
  • Material availability
  • Site access problems
  • Government restrictions
  • Other circumstances beyond PROMART’s reasonable control

PROMART will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delivery delays to the Customer.

4. Delivery Address

The Customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

The Customer should provide:

  • Correct site address
  • Contact person’s name
  • Contact number
  • Landmark, where necessary
  • Any specific site-entry instructions

PROMART will not be responsible for delays or additional transportation costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

5. Site Access & Unloading

Before placing an order, the Customer must ensure that the delivery site is accessible to the vehicle being used for transportation.

The Customer is responsible for providing:

  • Suitable vehicle access
  • Adequate unloading space
  • Safe site conditions
  • Required permissions for vehicle entry
  • Any necessary assistance for unloading, where applicable

If the delivery vehicle cannot safely access the site because of narrow roads, blocked entrances, unsafe conditions, construction activity, or other site-related issues, additional transportation, waiting, unloading, or handling charges may apply.

6. Inspection at Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect the delivered materials at the time of delivery.

Any visible issue relating to:

  • Quantity
  • Product type
  • Visible damage
  • Incorrect material
  • Delivery-related shortage

should be reported to PROMART as soon as reasonably possible.

Customers may be requested to provide photographs, delivery documents, or other relevant information to assist with investigation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

7. Cancellation Before Dispatch

A Customer may request cancellation of an order before the materials have been dispatched.

Cancellation will be subject to PROMART’s confirmation and the stage of order processing.

Where materials have not yet been prepared, loaded, or dispatched, PROMART may generally process the cancellation without a cancellation charge, subject to any specific terms agreed at the time of purchase.

8. Cancellation After Preparation or Loading

If the Customer cancels an order after the materials have been prepared, loaded, or otherwise committed for delivery, PROMART may deduct reasonable costs already incurred.

Such costs may include:

  • Material preparation costs
  • Loading charges
  • Transportation charges
  • Vehicle booking charges
  • Handling charges
  • Other reasonable costs directly associated with the cancelled order

The applicable amount will depend on the circumstances of the order.

9. Cancellation After Dispatch

Once materials have been dispatched from PROMART’s facility, cancellation may not be possible.

If cancellation is accepted after dispatch, the Customer may be responsible for applicable:

  • Transportation charges
  • Return transportation charges
  • Loading/unloading charges
  • Handling charges
  • Other reasonable costs incurred by PROMART

Any refund, if applicable, will be calculated after deducting applicable charges.

10. Cancellation After Delivery

Once construction materials have been delivered and accepted at the Customer’s site, the order generally cannot be cancelled or returned simply because the Customer has changed their mind or no longer requires the materials.

Any exception will be considered by PROMART on a case-by-case basis and subject to the condition of the materials and applicable law.

Materials that have been:

  • Used
  • Mixed with other materials
  • Altered
  • Damaged
  • Contaminated
  • Stored improperly

may not be eligible for return.

11. Returns

Because construction materials are generally ordered according to the Customer’s specific quantity and project requirements, returns are not normally accepted after delivery.

However, PROMART may consider a return or replacement where:

  • The wrong material was supplied by PROMART
  • There is a verified shortage
  • The material is demonstrably defective or does not meet the agreed specification
  • PROMART has otherwise agreed to accept the return

Any return must be approved by PROMART before the material is transported back.

12. Quality or Product Complaints

If the Customer believes that supplied material does not meet the agreed specification, the Customer should contact PROMART promptly.

PROMART may inspect the material or request appropriate supporting evidence.

Where a legitimate issue attributable to PROMART is established, PROMART may, subject to the circumstances and applicable law, provide an appropriate remedy such as:

  • Replacement
  • Credit adjustment
  • Refund
  • Other mutually agreed resolution

13. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, PROMART will communicate the applicable refund amount and process.

Refund amounts may be reduced by legitimate costs already incurred in connection with the order, where applicable and legally permitted.

Refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.

The time required for a refund may depend on the payment method and relevant banking or payment-service provider.

14. Failed Delivery

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful if:

  • The Customer or site representative is unavailable
  • The delivery address is incorrect
  • The site is inaccessible
  • The vehicle cannot safely enter the site
  • The Customer refuses delivery without a valid agreed reason
  • Required site permissions are unavailable
  • The site is not ready to receive the materials

In such circumstances, PROMART may charge reasonable additional transportation, waiting, handling, or re-delivery costs.

15. Changes to Orders

Customers who wish to change:

  • Quantity
  • Product type
  • Delivery address
  • Delivery date
  • Site instructions

should contact PROMART as early as possible.

Changes may be accepted only if the order has not progressed to a stage where the requested change is impractical.

Additional charges may apply where a change results in additional transportation, handling, material, or other costs.

16. Delays Beyond PROMART’s Control

PROMART will not be responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Severe weather
  • Heavy rainfall
  • Road closures
  • Traffic restrictions
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes or labour disruptions
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Material shortages
  • Accidents
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

PROMART will make reasonable efforts to complete the delivery once the relevant circumstances are resolved.

17. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery information
  • Being available to receive the materials
  • Ensuring suitable site access
  • Providing safe unloading conditions
  • Inspecting materials upon delivery
  • Reporting discrepancies or issues promptly
  • Making payments according to agreed terms

18. Policy Updates

PROMART may update this Shipping & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, delivery processes, business practices, or applicable laws.

The latest version will be published on the PROMART website.
